As the conflict continues to displace many individuals in different provinces of Afghanistan to relatively safer provinces, IRA’s vital assistance through winterization support, save the lives of many conflict induced IDPs and returnees by providing them; food, heating materials and Standardized NFI packages.

Islamic Relief Afghanistan through this winterization assistance supported more then 3500 Families in Takhar, Balkh, Kabul and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan. The great focus was given to the newly conflict induced IDPs, returnees and the most vulnerable families.

The projects were funded by IRUK and Emerging Market Online funds respectively.

The response was truly appreciated by government and Non-government entities such UNOCHA and ESNFI cluster in Afghanistan.
