Islamic Relief has provided poor Yemeni families with Ramadan food parcels and Qurbani meat, since 1998.
We registered a field office in 2003, and began implementing large-scale projects that would have a long term impact on Yemen’s development.
Our work currently focuses on water and health, orphan sponsorship, emergency relief and seasonal food programmes – as well as tackling the country’s deepening hunger crisis.
In 2013, we began a £2 million GBP programme to promote sustainable livelihoods, tackle malnutrition, and give young people brighter futures.
